About the character
Forgeru is an ex-member of MeseMoa.! and also my oshi. He has a cute personality and often treated like a burikko by other members. When dancing, he has a sharp but relaxed style.
Concepts
This art is a commission to accompany Andy's piano cover of Forgeru's solo song, Forget-Me-Not, to celebrate his birthday a year after his graduation!
I drew in in a field of forget-me-nots! and i have him making and wearing a flower crown! The hoodie and hat and baggy pants are just what he usually wears casually.
Progress
GUYS. This is my first ever commission i got. The face i make when i read Andy's message that popped out of nowhere is priceless. I didn't expect this to happen at all w. I was really really happy.
He doesn't have plan for the pose, so i drew 6 sketches in total, and he chose the first sketch i come up with w.

Also, around this time was the time i realize that Enstars cgs are peak in terms of the compositioning, so some of them is inspired by enstars cgs. Also this is like where i put my studies of enstars cgs composition tricks to test, but idk if it's good w
After that, i went missing for a long while because i was sick and starting uni LMAOO and missed the deadline because i simply forgot when is his birthday (it was so over but Andy apparently also forgot w) but Andy is being super patient with me and not asking any revisions thank you so much and i am so sorry...
Drawing the flowers especially that much was my weakness actually. For the flower crown i was just copying and pasting the whole thing... I was in call with Deko when i was drawing it, and i mumbled to myself like oh this is the way to draw flowers! make a circle and like draw petals from it and stuff and Deko was like speechless he could not believe that i just learned how to draw flowers like 5 years in drawing yk it was so funny. Also thank you chamie who helped me decide what color geru hoodie is by me asking a pic of geru in casual clothes w i love oshilosers!!!
Drawing hands was my favorite part! I love drawing hands and i tried my best to draw his muscly hand and arm! I think i did a fairly good job! Also i really love gerutan's arm and hands like i love-//stop
Drawing the hood part was hell actually at first i sketched it like randomly and i feel like it doesn't look like a hoodie so i spend like years fixing and searching for the right reference until i found an Akina fanart with the angle from above and it saved my life fr... for the hat i just googled a pic of a hat and quickly find the right reference LMAOO
Coloring the water was kinda fun actually even though what i did was just roughly add colors until it looks right w
Honestly looking back now (2 Jan 2025) what i regret from this art is that i think the anatomy sucks big time like the proportion is simply not it!!! Also for the lightning i don't think i did good enough tbh!!!!!!! and my bad lettering!!!!!!! and i should've added more petal fluttering effect!!!!!!! and do more color tracing because it looks muddy at some parts!!!!!!! But anyway thank you so much for Andy who accept this and patient with me and trusting me with this!!! I had a lot of fun drawing it!!!
