What counts as bragging?
Honestly, even though i said i want to make a blog, i ended up only posting for only a bit, and then i don't know what to write lol. It's not like i don't have anything to write about, but more like i keep overthinking it. Should i really post it on my blog? I don't want to post my current project as i don't know will it be finished or not, and i heard things about how publicly say what i want to do and make before actually doing it and have people responds positively might actually affect the project itself and make it unfinished forever as the dopamine from the positive reactions is enough. I don't want to keep writing about real life stuff as i might accidentally doxx myself just from the posts alone w. I might be able to write about my interests but i am afraid that i am not qualified enough to write and might affect others first impression of the media i am interested in or accidentally spread misinformation. I also don't want to be always write my negative thoughts because i don't want this blog to be just a big mess of rant and vent for me.
Writing about something positive that happened to me or what i achieved might be the best idea, i thought. But will it counts as bragging? The moment something good happened to me and i want to write about it, i wonder if the act of writing a blog about it counts as bragging. I wonder if the person who read my blog will get jealous of me. I fear this because recently my mom posted something that is very usual and common in our household, and her friend mention how she is really jealous of my mom. Thinking about this, i realized that posts in social media might also counts as bragging, then are blog posts can be said as one? What the difference of simply mention the good things that happened and bragging? Is it the intention? Is it the differences in how we want other feel about what we achieved? Wanting acknowledgement, compliments, and other stuff counts as bragging while not wanting them doesn't count as one?
I am still confused as what the correct answer is, or maybe there is simply no real correct answer as people perceives what counts as bragging differently. If you like, please tell me what you think of what is bragging and what is not.
